Fabricated
Fabricated (/fæb.rɪˌkeɪ.tɪd/), from the Latin fabricatus (past participle of fabricare meaning "to make, fashion, build"), is a term often used in the medical field to describe a condition or symptom that is deliberately made up or exaggerated by a patient. This is often associated with Factitious disorder, a mental disorder where a person acts as if they have a physical or mental illness when they are not really sick.
