Clarion County, Pennsylvania
Clarion County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census, the population was 37,241. The county seat is Clarion. The county was formed on March 11, 1839, from parts of Venango and Armstrong counties. It is named for the Clarion River, which flows through the county.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 610 square miles (1,580 km²), of which 601 square miles (1,560 km²) is land and 9.0 square miles (23 km²) (1.5%) is water.

Demographics
As of the census of 2020, there were 37,241 people, 14,000 households, and 8,500 families residing in the county. The population density was 62 people per square mile (24/km²). There were 16,000 housing units at an average density of 27 per square mile (10/km²).
