Cinnamyl acetate is an organic compound that belongs to the class of esters, specifically the acetate esters of cinnamyl alcohol. Synthesis

This process typically involves heating the reactants and continuously removing the water formed during the reaction to drive the equilibrium towards the formation of the ester.

Applications
