Chromosome 21 monosomy
Chromosome 21 monosomy is a rare chromosomal abnormality in which an individual has only one copy of chromosome 21 instead of the usual two copies found in humans. This condition is a type of monosomy, which refers to the absence of one chromosome in an otherwise diploid individual. Chromosome 21 monosomy is extremely rare and is often incompatible with life, leading to spontaneous miscarriage in most cases. Treatment
There is no cure for chromosome 21 monosomy due to its genetic nature. Prognosis
