Christ Hospital (Jersey City, New Jersey)

Christ Hospital is a hospital located in Jersey City, New Jersey. It is a member of the CarePoint Health system, a patient-focused provider of health care services in the Hudson County region.

Christ Hospital was founded in 1872 by a group of women from St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Jersey City. The hospital was originally located in a small rented house and had only six beds. Over the years, the hospital has grown and expanded, moving to its current location on Palisade Avenue in 1884.
