Carversville, Pennsylvania
Carversville is an unincorporated community in Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States.
History
Carversville was originally called "Indian Village" and was a Lenape gathering place. The village was later renamed "Milford" by Quaker settlers in 1730. The name "Carversville" was adopted in 1833 in honor of the early settler, Carver.
The village has a rich history, with many buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Carversville was a thriving community with mills, a general store, and a post office. The Carversville Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Geography
Carversville is located in the northeastern part of Bucks County, near the Delaware River. The community is situated in a picturesque valley surrounded by rolling hills and farmland.
Demographics
As an unincorporated community, Carversville does not have a formal population count. However, it is part of the larger Solebury Township, which has a population of approximately 8,692 according to the 2020 United States Census.

- Daniel Garber, a prominent American Impressionist painter, lived and worked in Carversville.
