The COVID-19 pandemic in England is part of the ongoing worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The virus reached England in January 2020. As of 31 December 2021, there have been confirmed cases and deaths.
