Aseem Shukla

Aseem Shukla (/əˈsiːm ˈʃʊklə/) is a renowned Pediatric Urologist and an Associate Professor of Urology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also the co-founder of the Hindu American Foundation.

Etymology

The name Aseem is of Indian origin and means "limitless" or "boundless" in Sanskrit. Shukla is a common surname in Northern India and means "bright" or "white".

Career

Aseem Shukla completed his medical education at the University of South Florida and his residency in Urology at the University of Minnesota. He specializes in pediatric urology, with a focus on minimally invasive surgery for children with urologic conditions. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been recognized for his contributions to the field of urology.
