Peacock is an over-the-top media service owned and operated by NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. The service primarily features content from NBCUniversal studios and other third-party content providers, including television series, films, news, and sports programming.

Peacock was officially announced by NBCUniversal on January 14, 2019, and was named after the NBC logo, which is a stylized peacock. The service launched on July 15, 2020, with early access provided to Xfinity customers on April 15, 2020.
