Disneynature is an independent film label of The Walt Disney Studios, a division of The Walt Disney Company. Established in 2008, Disneynature specializes in the production of nature documentary films. The label was created to continue the legacy of Walt Disney's True-Life Adventures series, which was produced from 1948 to 1960.

Disneynature was founded on April 21, 2008, by Jean-Francois Camilleri, a former executive at Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The label's first release was Earth, which premiered in 2009. The film was a re-edited version of the BBC series Planet Earth and was narrated by James Earl Jones in the United States.
