Psych 2: Lassie Come Home is a 2020 American made-for-television comedy film based on the USA Network dramedy series Psych. The film is a sequel to the first film, Psych: The Movie, and the second installment in the Psych film series. It was released on July 15, 2020, on the streaming service Peacock.

Plot

The film follows Shawn Spencer (played by James Roday Rodriguez) and Burton "Gus" Guster (played by Dulé Hill) as they return to Santa Barbara to help their old friend, Carlton Lassiter (played by Timothy Omundson), who has been ambushed on the job and left for dead. Lassiter begins to see impossible happenings around his recovery clinic, and Shawn and Gus must navigate personal and professional challenges to uncover the truth.

Filming took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, which also served as the primary filming location for the original series. The film was directed by Steve Franks, who also co-wrote the script with James Roday Rodriguez.
