Star Trek: Voyager is an American science fiction television series set in the Star Trek universe. It was created by Rick Berman, Michael Piller, and Jeri Taylor, and aired on the UPN network from January 16, 1995, to May 23, 2001. The series follows the adventures of the starship USS Voyager as it attempts to return home after being stranded in the Delta Quadrant, 70,000 light-years from Earth.

Premise[edit]

The series begins with the USS Voyager, under the command of Captain Kathryn Janeway, being sent on a mission to locate a Maquis ship. Both ships are transported to the Delta Quadrant by a powerful entity known as the Caretaker. With no immediate way to return to the Alpha Quadrant, the crew of Voyager and the Maquis must work together to find a way home, facing numerous challenges and encountering new species along the way.
