Star Trek: The Next Generation







Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG) is an American science fiction television series created by Gene Roddenberry. It originally aired from September 28, 1987, to May 23, 1994, in syndication, spanning seven seasons with a total of 178 episodes.
Premise[edit]
Set in the 24th century, approximately 100 years after the events of the original Star Trek, the series follows the adventures of the Starfleet starship USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D). The Enterprise is commanded by Captain Jean-Luc Picard, portrayed by Patrick Stewart. The series explores various themes such as exploration, diplomacy, and ethics.
