Trempealeau County is a county located in the western part of the state of Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 29,749. Its county seat is Whitehall. The county was created in 1854 and named after the Trempealeau River.

Trempealeau County covers a total area of 742 square miles, of which 733 square miles is land and 9.3 square miles (1.3%) is water. The county is characterized by its rolling hills, river valleys, and rich agricultural land.
