Vaginal sex (pronounced: vaj-uh-nl seks) is a form of sexual intercourse involving penetration of the vagina by the penis.
Etymology
The term "vaginal sex" is derived from the Latin word "vagina," which originally meant "sheath" or "scabbard," and the Old French "sexe," meaning "gender" or "sex."
