The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is a public research university located in San Antonio, Texas. It is part of the University of Texas System and is the largest university in the San Antonio metropolitan region.

History

The University of Texas at San Antonio was established in 1969. It was created to provide higher education opportunities to the growing population of San Antonio and the surrounding areas.
