The University of California, Davis (UC Davis) is a public land-grant research university located in Davis, California. History

UC Davis was established in 1905 as the University Farm, an extension of University of California, Berkeley. It became a general campus of the University of California in 1959. The campus has grown significantly over the years, both in terms of student population and academic offerings.
