These are single-celled, eukaryotic organisms that are characterized by their unique mode of feeding and reproduction. Morphology

Tokophrya species exhibit a distinctive morphology typical of suctorian ciliates. They possess a stalk that anchors them to a substrate, and a body that is often globular or elongated.
