Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is a public university located in Lubbock, Texas, with additional campuses in Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas, Midland, and Odessa. Established in 1969 as part of the Texas Tech University System, TTUHSC's mission is to improve the health of people by providing high quality educational opportunities, advancing knowledge through research, and providing patient care and service.

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center was established by the Texas Legislature in 1969 to address the shortage of health professionals in West Texas.
