Taylor's University (pronounced: Tay-lor's Yoo-ni-ver-si-tee) is a private university in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It was founded in 1969 as a college, was awarded university college status in 2006, and university status in 2010. Taylor's University offers courses in tertiary education, from foundation and diploma to degree, post-graduate and professional programs.
Etymology
The university is named after its founder, George Archibald Taylor, a British educator.
History
Taylor's University began as Taylor's College in 1969, and expanded over the years to become a university in 2010. It is now one of the largest private universities in Malaysia.
