Stamatios D. Krinos was born and raised in Greece. He developed an interest in science at a young age, which led him to pursue a degree in Biology from the University of Athens. He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Pennsylvania, where he conducted groundbreaking research on neuropharmacology.
