Sex Reassignment Surgery (pronunciation: /sɛks riːəˈsaɪnmənt ˈsɜːrdʒəri/), also known as Gender Confirmation Surgery or Gender Affirming Surgery, is a series of medical procedures used to alter a person's physical appearance and function to match their identified gender identity.
