Montana (mɒnˈtænə)

Montana is a state in the Western United States. The name Montana comes from the Spanish word Montaña, which in turn comes from the Latin word Montanea, meaning "mountain", or more broadly, "mountainous country".

Etymology

Geography

Millions of tourists annually visit Glacier National Park, the Battle of Little Bighorn site, and Yellowstone National Park.
