Huntingdon Valley is a village located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is situated within the Lower Moreland Township, one of the oldest townships in Pennsylvania. The village is known for its rich history, scenic beauty, and vibrant community life.

History

Huntingdon Valley was originally settled by the Lenape Native Americans, who were later displaced by European settlers in the 17th century. The village was named after Selina Hastings, Countess of Huntingdon, a prominent British Methodist. The area saw significant development in the 18th and 19th centuries, with the establishment of mills, farms, and later, railroads.

Huntingdon Valley is located in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania, approximately 13 miles north of Philadelphia.
