In the early 20th century, under the leadership of Thierry's son, Charles-Émile Hermès, the company moved its workshops to 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, where it remains headquartered today. The company began to diversify its offerings, introducing its first leather handbags in the 1920s.
