Hans Paul Bernhard Gierke
Hans Paul Bernhard Gierke (1854–1917) was a German pathologist who is best known for his work in the field of histology and pathology. He was born on 20th November 1854 in Berlin, Germany and died on 27th March 1917.

Gierke was born in Berlin, Germany. He studied medicine at the University of Berlin, where he developed an interest in histology and pathology. After completing his studies, he worked as an assistant in the pathological institute of the university.
