Hadassah Medical Center (Template:IPA-en) is a medical institution located in Jerusalem, Israel. It is one of the largest hospitals in the country and is renowned for its advanced medical research and healthcare services.

Etymology

The name "Hadassah" is derived from the Hebrew word הדסה, which is also the Hebrew name for the biblical figure Esther. The medical center was named after the Hadassah Women's Zionist Organization of America, which funded and established the hospital.

History
