Greater Toronto Area
The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is a metropolitan area in Ontario, Canada. It is the most populous metropolitan area in Canada, encompassing the city of Toronto and the surrounding regional municipalities of Durham, Halton, Peel, and York. The GTA is part of the larger Golden Horseshoe region, which extends from the eastern end of Lake Ontario to Niagara Falls.
