Abraham Jebediah "Grampa" Simpson II is a fictional character in the animated television series The Simpsons. He is voiced by Dan Castellaneta and first appeared in the episode "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire". Grampa Simpson is the father of Homer Simpson, father-in-law of Marge Simpson, and the grandfather of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.

Grampa Simpson is a World War II veteran and retired farmer who lives in the Springfield Retirement Castle. He is known for his rambling, often incoherent stories and his tendency to fall asleep at inopportune moments.
