Géza Krepuska was born on 21 September 1861 in Pest, which was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire at the time. After completing his studies, Krepuska returned to Hungary to further his career in medicine.

Krepuska began his medical career at the Budapest University, where he worked as an assistant in the department of otolaryngology.
