Fox 2000 Pictures
Fox 2000 Pictures was an American film production company that operated as a division of 20th Century Fox. It was established in 1994 and specialized in producing mid-budget films. Fox 2000 Pictures was founded by Laura Ziskin, who served as its first president. The company was created to produce films that were more niche and character-driven compared to the mainstream blockbusters typically produced by 20th Century Fox. In 2000, Elizabeth Gabler took over as president and continued to guide the company towards producing critically acclaimed and commercially successful films.
