Uses
Dent corn is primarily used for animal feed, providing a high-energy food source for livestock such as cattle, pigs, and poultry. It is also a key ingredient in the production of ethanol, a renewable fuel source.
In the food industry, dent corn is processed into a variety of products, including cornmeal, corn syrup, and corn oil. It is also used to make masa, the dough used in traditional Mexican cuisine for tortillas and tamales.
Cultivation
