Cousins Subs (pronounced: kuh-zuhnz suhbz) is a Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based submarine sandwich shop that was established in 1972. The chain was founded by cousins Bill Specht and James Sheppard, who brought their favorite style of sub sandwich from the East Coast to their new hometown of Milwaukee, hence the name Cousins Subs.
