PAC Learning[edit]
Probably Approximately Correct (PAC) learning is a framework introduced by Leslie Valiant in 1984. It provides a formal definition of what it means for a learning algorithm to succeed. In PAC learning, an algorithm is said to learn a concept if, with high probability, it can produce a hypothesis that is approximately correct.
VC Dimension[edit]
The Vapnik–Chervonenkis (VC) dimension is a measure of the capacity of a statistical classification algorithm. It is defined as the largest number of points that can be shattered by the algorithm. The VC dimension helps in understanding the complexity of a learning model and its ability to generalize from training data.
