Cohabitation (/koʊˌhæbɪˈteɪʃən/) is a living arrangement where two people who are in a romantic relationship live together but are not married.
Etymology
The term "cohabitation" comes from the Latin word cohabitare, which means "to live together". It is a combination of co- (together) and habitare (to live).
