The first vineyards were planted in the towns of Zikhron Ya'akov and Rishon LeZion, which became the primary locations for Carmel's winemaking operations. The winery in Rishon LeZion was established in 1889, followed by the Zikhron Ya'akov winery in 1892. These wineries were equipped with modern technology for the time, including steam-powered machinery and large fermentation tanks.

Development and Expansion

Throughout the 20th century, Carmel Winery expanded its operations and modernized its production techniques.
