Brioschi (/briˈɔski/) is a brand of antacid that originated in Italy. It is often used to treat symptoms of heartburn, acid indigestion, and upset stomach associated with these conditions.

Etymology

The product is named after its creator, Dr. Giovanni Brioschi, a pharmacist from Milan who developed the formula in 1880.

Description

Brioschi is a granulated effervescent powder, typically dissolved in water and consumed as a drink. The primary active ingredient is sodium bicarbonate, which works by neutralizing stomach acid.

Usage
