Brazilian Medical Association (Associação Médica Brasileira in Portuguese, abbreviated as AMB) is a professional non-profit organization that represents physicians in Brazil. Founded in 1951, the AMB is dedicated to improving the practice of medicine, the quality of health care, and the health of the Brazilian population.

History

The Brazilian Medical Association was established on January 26, 1951, in the city of São Paulo.
