Anovulatory (əˌnɒv.jʊˈleɪ.tər.i)

Anovulatory refers to a condition where the ovaries do not release an oocyte during a menstrual cycle. Therefore, ovulation does not take place. This condition is common in women who are experiencing menopause or those with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
