America's Test Kitchen is a half-hour long cooking show distributed to public television stations and also available on some streaming services. The show is based on the popular magazine Cook's Illustrated and is known for its rigorous testing of recipes, kitchen equipment, and ingredients.

History

America's Test Kitchen first aired in 2001. The show was created by Christopher Kimball, who also served as the host until 2016. After Kimball's departure, the show continued with new hosts Julia Collin Davison and Bridget Lancaster, both of whom had been long-time cast members.

Format

The format of America's Test Kitchen includes several segments:
