All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Deoghar
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Deoghar (AIIMS Deoghar) is one of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences, a group of autonomous public medical colleges of higher education. It is located in Deoghar, Jharkhand, India. Established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), AIIMS Deoghar aims to correct regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country and attain self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education. PMSSY was announced in 2003 and AIIMS Deoghar was officially inaugurated in 2019.

The foundation stone for AIIMS Deoghar was laid by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, aiming to enhance medical education and healthcare in Eastern India. It is part of the government's initiative to set up AIIMS institutions across India to bridge the gap in quality healthcare services.
