Align (/əˈlaɪn/), from the Old French aligner, meaning "to line up" or "arrange in a straight line", is a term often used in the medical field to describe the proper positioning or adjustment of parts of the body in relation to each other.

In a medical context, to align typically refers to the process of adjusting the position of a patient's body or a part of the body, such as a bone or joint, to ensure it is in the correct position relative to the rest of the body.
