Malibu
Malibu is a city located in the western region of Los Angeles County, California, United States. Malibu's history dates back to the Chumash people, who were the original inhabitants of the region. The name "Malibu" is believed to be derived from the Chumash word "Humaliwo," which means "the surf sounds loudly." The city was later part of the Spanish land grant, Rancho Topanga Malibu Sequit, in the 19th century. It was incorporated as a city in 1991.

Malibu spans over 21 miles along the Pacific Coast Highway and is bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the south and the Santa Monica Mountains to the north.
