A county in South West England



Dorset is a county located in the South West region of England. It is bordered by Devon to the west, Somerset to the north-west, Wiltshire to the north-east, and Hampshire to the east. The county town is Dorchester, situated in the south of the county.

Geography[edit]

Dorset covers an area of approximately 2,653 square kilometers (1,024 square miles) and has a varied landscape that includes the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site known for its geological significance and stunning coastal views.
