Lucille Teasdale-Corti (January 30, 1929 – August 1, 1996) was a Canadian physician and pediatric surgeon who worked in Uganda from 1961 until her death. She was one of the first female surgeons in Quebec and a pioneer in the field of pediatric surgery.

Early life and education[edit]

Teasdale was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She attended the University of Montreal where she graduated with a degree in medicine in 1955. She then went on to specialize in surgery at the University of Paris, becoming one of the first female surgeons in Quebec.
