Flourtown, Pennsylvania
Flourtown is an unincorporated community in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located in Springfield Township.
History[edit]
Flourtown was established in 1743. The community was named for a flouring mill that was built in the area. The mill was a significant part of the local economy and contributed to the community's development.
Geography[edit]
Flourtown is situated in southeastern Pennsylvania, approximately 10 miles north of Philadelphia. It is bordered by the communities of Oreland, Erdenheim, and Lafayette Hill.
