Bamifylline

Bamifylline is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor with bronchodilator properties, making it effective in the treatment of asthma and possibly other chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD). It works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase, leading to an increase in intracellular cAMP, which in turn helps relax the smooth muscles of the airways, reducing bronchospasm and facilitating easier breathing.
