Aseem Shukla

Aseem Shukla is a renowned pediatric urologist and an associate professor of surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also the co-founder of the Hindu American Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides a voice for the Hindu American community.

Early Life and Education

Shukla was born and raised in India. He moved to the United States for his higher education. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida, where he majored in biology. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine.

Career

After completing his medical degree, Shukla completed his residency in urology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric urology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

In 2004, Shukla co-founded the Hindu American Foundation with Mihir Meghani. The foundation aims to provide a voice for the Hindu American community and to educate the public about Hinduism and the issues that affect Hindus in America.

In addition to his work with the Hindu American Foundation, Shukla is also a prolific writer and speaker. He has written numerous articles and given many talks on topics related to Hinduism, medicine, and the intersection of the two.
