Chikwe Ihekweazu

In 2021, Ihekweazu was appointed as an Assistant Director-General at the World Health Organization, heading the newly established Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence in Berlin. This role involves coordinating global efforts to predict, prevent, and respond to pandemic and epidemic risks.
