Myrianthus arboreus

Description

The flowers are small, yellowish-green, and arranged in large, dense clusters. The fruit is a small, round, yellowish-green berry.
Distribution and habitat
Myrianthus arboreus is native to tropical regions of Africa, including Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda, and Kenya. It is typically found in rainforests, wetlands, and along riverbanks.
Uses
The wood of Myrianthus arboreus is used for construction and furniture making. The leaves and fruit are edible and used in traditional African cuisine. The plant also has medicinal uses in traditional African medicine.
Conservation
